Why I'm a Rotarian

When asked why I’m a Rotarian a story about scientists studying rats comes to mind. The scientists had determined that rats can trend water for about sixteen minutes before they would stop and sink. They decided to pull one group of rats out of the water before they sank, then after a short period of time they put them back in the water. The second time in the water the rats tread water for 25 minutes and the scientists were without an explanation

Mayor Karl Dean Speaks to Rotary Club

Hendersonville Rotarian and Club President Bethel Ellis introduced Karl Dean, Mayor of Nashville as the Club’s guest speaker. Mayor Dean spoke on the many benefits of living in the Nashville area and identified our biggest challenges going forward as improving education and public transportation.
