Chloe Smith is Wheels in Motion Bike Recipient

Chloe Smith, a student at Whitten Elementary, was this month’s recipient of the Rotary Club of Hendersonville Wheels in Motion bicycle. Each month, a student at Whitten Elementary and Gene Brown Elementary is chosen to receive a bicycle based on several qualifications including grades, a community action, or an outstanding individual accomplishment.

Tennessee Chamber’s Foundation Speaks to Rotary Club

Rotarian Lee Rucks introduced Leland Gregory as the Club’s speaker. Gregory is with the Tennessee Chamber's not-for-profit foundation under a $274,500.00 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to educate statewide business leaders, employers, governmental officials, media and others about the Complete College Tennessee Act (CCTA) and the importance of post-secondary education.

WhoUWith Ministries speaks to Rotary Club

Rotarian Richard Rowlett introduced Lance Brown as the Club’s speaker. Brown is the Founder and Director of WhoUWith Ministries and the Chaplain for the Vanderbilt sports teams. Brown has been in youth ministry since joining the staff of Fellowship of Christian Athletes in August of 1991, then founding WhoUWith In 2001.
